In the prologue of John's Gospel, John gives us the theological explanation of the historial accounts of Jesus' brith recorded in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke. He introduces us to a God who is both "big enough" and near enough, a God who "speaks our language," One that we can relate to at a personal level.
