Baptism

This past Sunday, Quest had the privilege of dedicating and baptizing several infants, children and adult believers at all three services. For those of you that weren't able to be there (and even for those that were!) we'd like to share the testimonies of two Questers who were baptized at the 5pm service, Rosalind Sciammas and Sarah Ryer. We hope it will bless you as it has richly blessed us!

Music and Worship and the stuff in-between

I don't know about you, but at times I find it really hard to worship. Now, this might be an especially disconcerting thing to hear from the person who just got hired as the primary AM worship leader at Quest, but I figure I might as well start my tenure as transparenty and honestly as I can. At the risk of tooting my own horn, when it comes to the task leading worship, I think I've got enough experience and skill to accomplish the superficial work of leading a group of people in song relatively well. I know how to carry a tune, I know how to shift dynamics, I even know how to say "spiritual" things that make me look like I've got this whole God thing down pat. But when it comes to actually worshipping, worshipping in spirit and in truth -- that's a little rougher sometimes. Like many of you, I've got a lot of things going on in my life that can easily pull my mind and heart away from Christ.

Christmas Eve Service CANCELLED!

By jesshong on

Due to the fresh batch of snow that has hit the Seattle area, the Quest staff and leadership have made the difficult decision to CANCEL tonight's Christmas Eve Service. This was no easy decision to make but in the interest of safety, we thought it best to err on the side of caution. I hope that even in light of this unfortunate circumstance, we would all be able to take this extra time to reflect on the goodness [and greatness!] of God and the incredible gift of His son.

On behalf of the Quest staff and leadership, we hope that wherever you are, you are safe and warm and that you have a VERY merry Christmas!!

Love Letters

This 12-week, interactive Bible study focuses on the letters of John. Strong internal evidence and church tradition point to the apostle John as the writer, somewhere between 90-100 AD. He is the last of the Twelve Apostles still living "an eyewitness to the incredible events surrounding the life, passion, death and resurrection of Jesus the Christ. He witnessed the amazing growth, struggles and challenges of the young church.
