Giving Sunday @ Quest

WHAT IS GIVING SUNDAY? A special offering conducted over two Sundays each year [around the anniversary of Quest] where we invite each person in the Quest community to give beyond their normal giving to further the church's mission.

WHEN? Giving Sundays will take place this year on November 9 and 16.

FOR WHAT PURPOSE? Each year, the Giving Sunday offerings have different purposes. In years past, the offerings went to fund our church's foundations [Global Presence, Community Development and Churchplanting], church renovation, etc.

This year, the Giving Sundays will have TWO purposes: Half will go towards 2 or 3 local food banks. The other half will be designated to help those within our church community that are in seasons of financial difficulty. Beyond words, we want to care for our neighbors and for our church family.

WHAT ARE OUR GOALS? There are two goals. The first is to have everyone participate. This is so important not because of numbers but because of the heart. We want everyone that calls Quest their church to contribute in some way. Financially, our goal is to raise a minimum of $50,000.
