Christmas Eve Service CANCELLED!

Quest Christmas Eve Service Cancelled!

Due to the fresh batch of snow that has hit the Seattle area, the Quest staff and leadershp have made the difficult decision to CANCEL tonight's Christmas Eve Service. This was no easy decision to make but in the interest of safety, we thought it best to err on the side of caution. I hope that even in light of this unfortunate circumstance, we would all be able to take this extra time to reflect on the goodness [and greatness!] of God and the incredible gift of His son.

On behalf of the Quest staff and leadership, we hope that wherever you are, you are safe and warm and that you have a VERY merry Christmas!!

Christmas Eve Service

Hello Quest,

No season of the year sings as well as Christmas. It makes no difference whether you're a Christian or not; a kind of irresistible magic fills the air with the sights and sounds and aroma of the season. And the world breaks out in song. Can you imagine the celebration of Christmas without carols? --Or without the warm glow of candles reminding us of the "light of Christ" that has come into our world to pierce the "darkness"? My favorite carols include Silent Night, O Come All Ye Faithful, O Holy Night, Away in a Manger and I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day. What are your favorites?

Quest Sunday Services Cancelled - 12.21.08

Quest Sunday Services Cancelled - 12.21.08

Due to the severity of the snow storm affecting the greater Seattle area, Quest has decided to cancel all three services.

We will be sending out a worship outline to assist those who would like to hold worship services at home and Pastor Eugene will be filming a short sermon that will be posted on our website [http://seattlequest.org] as well as on his blog [http://eugenecho.com].

Thank you for your understanding and please, be safe out there! If you have any questions, contact office@seattlequest.org.

Blessings,

Living Advent

We light this candle as a sign of the coming light of Christ.
Advent means coming.
We are preparing ourselves for the days

when the nations shall beat their swords into plowshares,
and their spears into pruning hooks;
nation shall not lift up sword against nation,
neither shall they learn war any more.

Let us walk in the light of the Lord.
