Just as the heart of Quest is to live out our faith, worshipping with soul, community, compassion & justice, and global presence- the children and family ministry reflects that same mission in tangible ways that children can relate to. in 2009 we began an email conversation with one of our missionary families who are currently serving in Thailand. From email, we moved to videos, which introduce the missionary kids to our kids at Global Village and provide a space for us to ask and answer questions about each others interests, daily life and faith. In 2010 we partnered with the Shim family to send our tithe and offering to help out children in a school in Nan, called Baan Sa Wa School. Our tithe went towards the purchasing of much needed bug repellent, fans for kids dorm rooms, and school supplies. This relationship has opened doors to conversations about what it means to be a part of the larger Kingdom of God, and what a calling to ministry might look like. You can be a part of our global village experiences too!
