We know that parents are the primary spiritual mentors of their children. While the church gets an average of 40 hours per year of time with children, parents spend an average of 3,000 hours with their children. So, it is only natural that parents be the ones to teach their children about God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the meaning of the cross, and living life for Christ- but you don’t have to do it alone!
Global Village seeks to provide awesome worship experiences for kids and families on Sundays, and also to holistically equip parents to be the spiritual leaders in your homes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You are not alone!
Ready to have some important dialogue with your child about their personal relationship with Christ, or getting baptized or wondering when they can take communion? Check these great resources out! We created them just for you!

Here are a few of the ministries reaching out to moms and dads, as we equip, support, and encourage you!
Praying Parents Group- First Tuesday every month. 9:30-11:00am at Q Cafe
Esperanza- The first of many groups that have met over the years, this group is for moms (typically with kids 5 and under) who are seeking community and formation (both spiritually and in parenting). Come relax, share your story, and be encouraged by the sometimes hilarious, heart-warming, and always brutally honest stories and relationships with other moms in a similar life season. Childcare is provided for this group (suggested donation for regular participants). Led by Nancy Rust.
New Parents Group- Parents with newborns are encouraged to attend this 6-8 week class, specifically designed to help new parents adjust to life with a newborn. Lots of helpful topics are covered including help with eating issues, sleep issues, how to find personal time, how to keep the marriage relationship a priority, how to be spiritual mentors to our children, and many other much needed discussion topics! This class is offered seasonally. Led by Louise Sneath and Pam Christensen.
