Summer C-Play
Summer C-Play, or "c-groups lite" will be starting up June 28th and running through August 30th. However, not all groups run all 8 weeks, so be sure to check the group description for the details. These groups are more informal and open than our normal c-groups that run during the school year. C-Plays are a great chance to meet people that go to a different service than you or to start making connections if you're new to Quest. The goal is simply to have fun and build community doing it.

Groups are open, so its ok to drop in even if you've missed a week or two. Group times, dates, and details are listed on the right so find one that sounds fun and jump in. Questions? Email jason@seattlequest.org
Cycling C-Play
Randall Ajimine (tonelomato@gmail.com)
Seattle
The Cycling C-Play will be putting on three or four rides this summer starting short and easy, moving up to longer but still easy rides. The emphasis will be on fun rather than fitness so the pace will be on the slow side. If you're interested in coming out to ride, please join the online group, and sign up for email updates to the group so that you can get the details of the rides as the dates get closer. Here's the tentative set of rides that are planned:
- 07/11 Basic bicycle maintenance clinic and Waterfront ride (6.5 miles) - meet at the Quest Church Parking Lot - 10am
- 07/18 Quest to Golden Gardens (11.5 miles) - meet at the Quest Church Parking Lot - 10am
- 07/25 I-90/Mercer Island ride (17.5 miles - caution, hilly ride...don't worry, we'll wait for ya) - 10am
- Ride starts at the Sam Smith Park (click here for map), lots of street parking
- 07/26 Waterfront ride redux - meet at Quest parking lot 1pm
- 08/01 Gasworks to Red Hook (we'll eat lunch at Red Hook then ride back) - 10am

Darwin Cruz (darwin@dcruzinphotography.com)
Seattle!
Join us for a few Seattle walkabouts this summer. We'll meet up somewhere in Seattle, walk the streets for a bit, take pictures, and enjoy the Seattle summer weather. Since weather and light are huge factors in photography we'll be posting the date and time of the next walkabout in the online group. So, if you're interested in coming along, join the group and subscribe to the email updates.
Volleyball & Badminton
Mike Nichols (mnichols@spu.edu) & Deanne Liu (deanne.liu@gmail.com)
Come on out for some volleyball, which is a Seattle summer tradition, or badminton, that classic sport from Jr. High, and volleyball. We'll bring out both nets and you can take your pick. We'll be meeting on Sundays at 2pm in Bitter Lake Park which is just north of Ballard. After a couple of Sundays we'll see arrange for a BBQs after the game. If you don't have a badminton racket (shocker!), there will be some extras. Please join the online group to get updates in case of weather or holidays.
We'll be by the playground across from Starbucks and Greenlake bar and grill. Call Deanne @ 206-866-5419 if you need help finding us.
Basketball
Tony Nabors (altarego7@gmail.com)
Starting June 30th and running through August 25th we'll be playing b-ball at the Loyal Heights community center just north of Ballard. Game starts at 7pm and goes for a couple of hours. Cost is $4 per night to cover gym fee.
Eastside Potluck
Erica Anderson (erateach@yahoo.com)
Bellevue Parks
For all the eastside Questers, this is a chance to gather together somewhere a little closer to home. We'll be meeting every other Tuesday at 6:30 in a park in Bellevue to eat (potluck style), playtime for kids and adults, and prayer together. If you're interested please RSVP with Erica (erateach@yahoo.com) so that we can gauge just how many Eastsiders we have who can come out.
Ultimate Frisbee
Brian & Nicole Hickory (brian.hickory@gmail.com)
Come on out Wednesday evenings to joing other Questers in a pick-up ultimate game. If there's not enough Questers for a full game we'll join one of the pick-up games going on at the same time. You'll want to bring some cleats if you have some and water.
We meet at Magnuson Park and normally play on one of the turf fields at Sand Point fields -- just south of the huge parking lot and playground. The best place to park is the Dog Park parking lot and then head over to the fields and look for frisbees. Also, give us a ring if you don't see us: 206-255-3105.
