Looking for cloth for cancer hats

In December of last year, my stepmom was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. She is a talented seamstress, and since beginning her chemo treatments in January has been making cancer hats for her fellow patients. If you have an scraps of cloth that fit her description below that you could donate, I know they would be put to good use.

“I do have one more favor to ask. So many of the wonderful patients I've met during the chemo sessions have lost their hair (I've been fortunate and haven't lost any). I've been making chemo hats and leaving them on the "hat tree" in the reception room when I go up for a treatment. People seem to like the hats because they often disappear before I've finished my treatment that same day. It only takes one yard of 45 inch fabric or 3/4 of a yard of 60 inch fabric to make a hat and I try to make each hat out of a different fabric so that the patient doesn't meet herself coming down the street. Cotton fabric is best for the summer hats (slick fabrics don't work well). With winter coming I think flannel would work best for the style of hats I make. No dark and dreary colors please, keep them bright and cheery. The need for the hats is critical and especially with winter coming on.”

I am going to visit Vicky the last week of August, so any donations before that point I can bring to her. After that, I am happy to send them to her. She also tells me that large mens flannel shirts have enough fabric in them for hats, if anyone has some that they don't need. Please let me know if you would like to donate your fabric scraps.
Thank you.
