Two Hundred Bucks and MiQro Groups | March 9th - March 15th

Hey Quest, a couple of exciting things are brewing in the realm of community groups:

miQro Groups

We know that it can be hard to jump into a c-grop mid-year or to make the year-long commitment with busy schedules.  So that's why we're launching miQro groups at the beginning of April miQro groups are a new way to build relationships with others who want build community and dig deeper into Scripture. They are made up of 8-14 people and meet each week for two hours in the evening over the course of six to eight weeks.  During this spring season the groups will be working through a study on the book of Jonah and studying Jonah's themes of running, desperation, anger, prayer, and compassion.  Interested?  There will be two groups, one on Wed and another on Thur (more info here on the groups) and registration is open now.  So, if you'd like to be part of one, email me before they fill up.

Good Neighbor Fund

If you're in a c-group you've hopefully been drawing closer to one another and God, and now we want to encourage you outward.  That's why you have $200 that we've given you with the simple instructions of "bless your neighbors."  The Good Neighbor Fund is meant to both burden and inspire groups to take seriously Jesus' command to be lovers-of-neighbors.  How to find a project where you can use the funds?  There's plenty of examples from past groups (care kits and breakfast for the homeless, blood drives, and building a ramp for a disabled neighbor to name a few), you could also see what's going on in your neighborhood via the many neighborhood-based blogs, but at the root we want you to be imaginative and a little crazy and look to livng out concretely the stories and parables of Scripture.

peace,
